In this document you'll find information on how to setup the features of the Family Portal to customize your school's site. Settings for the Family Portal are managed through a school's Admin Console. To make changes to the settings your account will have to have Admin Console permissions.
Manage your settings from the page shown below. Simply click "Edit" in the upper right corner to make changes. Each numbered item on this image is matched on the subsequent images with its output. (Find out more about Google SSO here.)
On the Dashboard, display a Welcome Message along with your school name. Students and parents can see information about course scores, missing work and upcoming work at a glance.
Navigating to this page will allow students to view their full mastery report for the date range. They can click on each level to expand the report. Also available on this page is an area for a second message from the school. For more views of this page see here.
Enabling the Missing Work page is optional. This page will list any assessment that has been marked with a missing code in teacher gradebooks. Also as an option, you can enable the ability for students to email a message directly to their teacher from this page.
Assessments listed here are those that a teacher has explicitly marked as 'upcoming'. Options to send an email directly to a teacher are also available here. For more information on upcoming assessments see here.
