Happy Halloween! Based upon your feedback over the last few months, we are going to make a slight change to the Plan and Grade tab that will affect many users. To help avoid confusion, I'd like to explain the reason for the change and the steps that you need to take.
- We did this because many teachers were mistakenly entering scores into the wrong courses (for the correct units) in the event that the same student group was teaching the same students in multiple courses.
If you have already shared your units with courses, no action is required and you can continue to use JumpRope as always. If you see the error below, follow these steps to associate your unit with a course:
To get past this warning, first, click on Share Settings. In the popup, select at least one course to associate with the unit as shown here.
Be sure to only associate your units with the appropriate courses based on the content area. Consider cloning your course instead if you're sharing between sections that may get off pace. If you are interested, more information is available here: http://support.jumpro.pe/hc/en-us/articles/200314155
I'd like to apologize in advance for any confusion that this change may have caused - it is designed to lead to less confusion down the road by helping to ensure that scores are associated with the appropriate courses on progress reports.
Please reach out to JumpRope Support if you have any questions!
