Most schools synchronize their class lists and schedules with JumpRope through an external system such as PowerSchool, STARS, InfiniteCampus, etc (more here). Some systems do not support co-teachers (or at least aren't smart enough to synchronize them with JumpRope. For this reason, we allow schools to activate a feature that enables teachers to share their own courses with co-teachers as needed.
Step 1: Enable the feature in the Admin Console
An administrator must fist check the box shown here:
Once enabled, a teacher that already has access to the class can add one or more co-teachers by going to the courses tab and selecting "Add Co-teacher":
Finally, in the pop-up you can select one or more other teachers and click save:
You can add up to ten co-teachers for any given course. In order to see the changes, the teachers that you share with will have to log out and back in to JumpRope.
Note that if you have already created units BEFORE you added a co-teacher, you will need to explicitly share those units with the co-teacher if they are to have access to them. Adding a co-teacher ONLY shares all future units added to a course. For more on how to share units with a co-teacher see this article.
