JumpRope is a web application and in theory, all users will see the most recent version of JumpRope automatically. However, to improve overall performance for our users many aspects of JumpRope are "cached" either in your browser or on our servers. As such, if you have recently heard from JumpRope Support that an update has been "deployed" or "pushed out" (within the last couple of hours), it is possible that you are not yet seeing the latest version. Follow these steps in order to speed up getting an update:
Steps to speed up an update:
- Log out of JumpRope and back in.
- In Chrome or Firefox, hold the CTRL key while clicking on the browser refresh button (this will clear your cache and re-load JumpRope's entire application). If you do this while logged into JumpRope it will automatically log you back in on refresh.
- If you still aren't seeing the latest update, you may try closing and re-opening your browser, manually clearing your cache, and/or loading JumpRope in incognito / private browsing mode (though these steps are usually not necessary).
If you are still having trouble after following these steps, let JumpRope support know and tell us what "client version" you are seeing as described in this screenshot:
