If your school utilizes trimesters or quarters as formal points in time to distribute progress reports or grades, it is likely that you will want to use Grading Periods in JumpRope. Grading Periods are customizable, pre-determined date ranges used for JumpRope Mastery reports. Teachers and other users can select these periods when viewing data on reports such as course mastery reports.
Grading Periods are managed per school in the Admin Console. Simply select "Add", highlight the new entry in the list, then set the Name, Start and End Dates. Add as many grading periods as needed and then click Save. You may need to refresh your browser to see changes.
Once Grading Periods are set, users will be able to select them from the date range dropdown selector on Mastery reports:
Note that Grading Periods in JumpRope have a different construct than Terms in JumpRope. Terms are used when course enrollments at your school change significantly at pre-determined times during the year. They are also used for courses that are not graded cumulatively.
