Our District Edition customers who also use JumpRope's Curriculum Design tool can activate a feature (currently in beta as of August 2016) that allows teachers to browse and import units, assessments, and course plans from the Curriculum Bank into their Plan tab in the Teacher Dashboard. If you believe that you are eligible to use this feature and would like to activate it, please contact JumpRope Support.
Once active, teachers will see two new options in their Plan tab:
Add from Course Plan
A Course Plan in the Curriculum Design tool allows districts to associate a set of standards with a particular course. Teachers can then "apply" the course plan to their sections in the Plan tab which makes it quick and easy to associate required or suggested standards with a section without having to filter through the entire bank of standards. The option to add standards to a section based on a course plan can be found in either location shown below:
Adding Units and Assessments:
In addition to Course Plans, which only associate standards with a section, teachers can import entire units along with assessments into their Plan tab. To do so, first select a section in the Plan tab and look for the "Add from Curriculum Bank" option in the assessment list on the right side of the Plan tab:
If the teacher has already added or created units for the selected section, the same option can be found in the unit menu shown here:
When this option is chosen, teachers will be able to search or filter a list of all published units from the Curriculum Bank. Choosing "Use in Plan Tab" and following the directions will create a copy of the unit template with all related assessments and any aligned standards. After closing the Curriculum Bank popup, the Plan tab will allow the teacher to associate the added unit with one or more of their sections.
